Bowl of tangyuan sweet rice balls - Chinese new year color page

About this coloring page

Steam rises from a bowl of tangyuan sweet rice balls with a porcelain spoon resting inside. These round dumplings are eaten at the Lantern Festival, the last day of the New Year celebrations, and their shape stands for family togetherness. This Chinese New Year color page also has chopsticks, a small lantern and a little side bowl, a calm change from detailed animals like the mountain ram with spiral horns. Make the rice balls white or pastel pink and the bowl blue and white like real porcelain. For something sweet of a different kind, the monkey holding a peach has a fruit of its own.
