Chinese zodiac sign of the Ox resting in the grass - Chinese zodiac coloring sheets

About this coloring page

Resting in the grass with its legs folded under its body, this ox is drawn the way Chinese painters have shown it for centuries: calm, strong and patient. It is one of the Chinese zodiac coloring sheets for older kids and adults, with fine lines in the fur, curved horns and a tufted tail. Ox years include 1997, 2009 and 2021, and the sign stands for hard work and honesty. For a younger sibling there is the smiling cartoon ox under a lantern. Color the ox in warm browns, the horns in ivory and the clouds and frame in pale blue or gold.
