T-Rex coloring pages
74 free printable t rex coloring pages: cute baby dinosaurs, roaring hunters, a robot T-Rex, a fossil skeleton and Christmas sheets. Print or download any page.
Tyrannosaurus rex was the biggest meat-eater of its time, and it is still the dinosaur kids ask for first. Here are 74 T-Rex sheets, from chunky cartoon babies with thick outlines to detailed hunters with textured skin.
About these T-Rex coloring pages
The set covers the T-Rex from every side. Little ones get round-bellied cartoon dinosaurs, a baby T-Rex hatching out of a cracked egg, another chasing a dragonfly and a mother nuzzling her hatchling. Older kids can try a roaring hunter with every tooth showing, a close-up of the head, a mechanical T-Rex made of metal plates and bolts, and a complete skeleton fossil in a museum pose. There are scenes, too: a T-Rex leaping over a stream, balancing on a rock, standing by a smoking volcano or roaring at the full moon. For December there is a T-Rex in a Santa hat next to a fir tree and one holding a wrapped present.
The simple sheets with thick lines suit preschoolers and a first pack of crayons, while the jungle scenes with ferns and palm leaves keep a seven or eight year old busy for a good while. They work well for a dinosaur birthday party or a classroom unit on fossils: print a skeleton next to a living T-Rex and let kids compare them. Greens and browns look natural, but bright orange or purple dinosaurs are just as much fun. If your child loves the cartoon side of dinosaurs, the friendly crew in our Dinosaur Train coloring sheets is the next stop, and fans of giant creatures will also like the whales and sharks among the printable sea animals coloring pages.
