About this coloring page
Jagged teeth, a bony brow and a ridge of spikes down the neck fill this close-up T rex head coloring page from edge to edge. You see the head and shoulders only, so every wrinkle around the eye and every scale on the jaw is big enough to color. Older kids can practise shading: darker under the jaw and around the teeth, lighter on top. A creamy yellow for the teeth looks more real than plain white. For a full-body view, the T-Rex sniffing wild flowers and the mother T-Rex walking with two hatchlings show the whole animal. Print it on one page and color the eye last so it really shines.
