Letter A opens the alphabet on this kindergarten letter writing sheet. Children copy the capital A and the small a along the tracing rows, following the numbered strokes, and then look at the six labelled pictures: an apple, a balloon, an acorn, an onion, an ant and a lamp. Only the apple, the acorn and the ant begin with A, so those are the ones to colour, and saying each word out loud helps children hear the first sound.
