About this coloring page

A chubby pony with a shaggy mane, big round eyes and a long, wavy tail is drawn next to a bale of hay on this coloring picture for preschoolers. Tufts of grass stick out of the top of the hay bale, ready for a hungry pony's lunch. The outlines are simple and bold, so they suit preschool skill levels well, and the pony's calm face keeps the activity relaxed and fun. Try warm browns or creams for the coat, soft yellows or bright pinks for the mane and tail, and golden yellow for the hay. For dot-to-dot practice, see the hippopotamus by dots coloring page, or explore the lion coloring pages for a bolder big cat. Download and print it at home.
