About this coloring page
A wastebasket full of trash is the only subject of this realistic coloring page. The tall wire mesh basket is drawn in a diamond pattern, and through the gaps you can see crumpled paper, a tin can, an old brush and other scraps piled up to the rim. Nothing has spilled out yet, but there is no room for more! Colour the wire in dark grey, then give each bit of rubbish its own shade: white for paper, silver for the can, brown for the brush. Talk with children about which things could be recycled. Next, try the Earth and recycling symbol coloring sheets or the coloring sheets showing people around the globe celebrating Earth Day.
