About this coloring page
A hoopoe clings to a tree trunk on this coloring page of birds for adults, bringing food to its nestling. The chick peeks out of a hole in the bark with its beak open, and the parent leans in with something held in its long curved beak. Its crest is raised in a full fan, its wings are striped, and its tail is spread wide. Rough bark covers the trunk, and a bare branch grows below. Peach and buff for the hoopoe, black and white for the stripes and brown for the bark look true to life. It is a sweet family moment to colour. Use soft pencils for the bark.
